Our previous gig, at Contenders' in Sylvan Lake, was pretty great, and we figured it'd be hard to top it.  Somehow though, this one did.  Every now and then, a gig just goes perfectly.  All the planets line up just so - the people are great, the stage is a good size, the soundman knows his stuff, the setting is ideal and the sky is clear - in short, T-Rat's sleeping it off somewhere.

Such was our first weekend in April 2009, when the Rose and Crown in Banff invited us down.  Our best buddy Scotty was able to get away for almost the whole time, even though he's a full-time dad, husband and Special Ops guy at Western RV, and Simon's better half Mandy accompanied us as well.  We ran into some friends from Camrose, Wainwright, London and Melbourne.
